but I do have a personal hatred of Glocks
By default, we use Glock mainly to uniform instructions & procedures. However we strongly encourage people to train with a pistol they'd normally use (if possible one chambered in 9x19 for logistic reasons). One of our student about to acquire a UK LB SIG, so was issued a SIG 225.
you did muzzle sweep the cameraman a few times when you were swinging your arms mid-run.
To Ste's defence, given the parameters of that specific scenario, it was the cameraman's responsibility to keep behind the runner.
when running with a pistol, having it out in front of you is the preferred way
100% agreed it should be the preferred method as much as possible, both for safety & speed of elevation.

Thanks for the info Froggy... with regards to the first point, when I shoot in the US I have use of a Para Ordnance 2011, and I shoot a .22 1911 LBP here, so if I could shoot a 2011 on one of these trips, I would pretty much guarantee that I would go :) (or could pay extra for .45 if a 9mm wasn't available)
When is the next trip?

if I could shoot a 2011 on one of these trips,
I don't know if we have a Para-Ordnance (I'd sure love one as a personal pistol

) but we do have 1911.

I wouldn't advise using the 1911 on a course though. in 2 mags it jammed at least twice... Good fun for shooting, but not very practical for the parkour :(
Although it may just have not been cleaned & oiled like the Glocks...

Para-Ord are double pile so you have as many rounds in your mag as a Glock 19.
1911 are made for men ...
it's not glorious capitalist pistol's fault ...
if your limpy grip causes stoppage

Ah well, we both got to blast the quarry wall with 7.62x54r in semi-auto, so we're both winners!
