Still vermin slaughtering with my small bore battery.
Main calibres at the moment are .17" HMR, 218" Bee, .204" Ruger (I am in awe of the cartridge, what a performer!) and the .222" mainly for foxes and the roe.

Well a great day was had, had to duck few showers but job done.
A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools!!

Giving the MAS36 and P14 an outing today. I have not shot the MAS36 for a while. It shoots a little to one side, I think left if I remember and no sight adjustment available for windage. The trigger is a bit of a heavy pull as well so no expectation of a tight group.

The trigger is a bit of a heavy pull as well so no expectation of a tight group.
An easy fix for the MAS heavy trigger, is to substitute the firing pin spring with a cut down M1 carbine (or similar) recoil spring.
I got mine down from about 15Ibs down to a comfortable 4 Ilbs, don't overdo it though as you will end up with light strikes.
