There's no way I'd be going anywhere near water with those around.

I have a mate who I served with who has since emigrated to the US. He has repeatedly invited me over for hunting during the winter months. It would seem that winter is best because the gators hibernate so you almost never lose a dog wtfwtf

He has a hunting mate who is convinced he's lost at least one dog to a python. It would seem that they and other snakes have been released, bred and grown to huge sizes and are now a real problem. I think i'll wait for an invite further north.

Reminds us of that old joke about Lacoste sleeping bags...
