European rifle scope wanted

I am looking for a 1" tube European 'scope, ideally around 10x magnification from the late 1980's/early 90's preferably with high turrets however I would consider anything. A Pecar or Kahles maybe?

Anyone?

Look on ebay.de - you'll need to search zielfernrohr - most of them are "mit schiene" ie rail mount.

I've got this scope, I think it could be French... Le Upold? sign01

Is there really going to be anything contemporary with target turrets I wonder?

If the price is right, go for the one on ukv - it's not something that becomes available very often.

If you get it, and have a target turret fitted, let me know how it goes, because I've been thinking of sending one of my scopes back to S&B and having one fitted myself. I think it may cost hundreds though, not a cheap job at the factory.

Is the scope you're looking at in alloy? The one in the pic looks like it might be, but I'm sure I've seen a picture of a steel one somewhere too. Probably best for your requirements to keep the weight down.

We suddenly realised the rifle it is going on (M65A) is quite light at 5,3Kg so all of a sudden a light weight 'scope is important as it means the rifle could be shot in the S Class. I am not sure if the S&B has a steel or aluminium tube, I will ask the question.

S&B used to be very good at turning things around however they seem slow to reply these days and prices have gone up.
