Weekend at the range

My four children decided to treat their old man and go to the range with me on Sunday. It was cold and overcast but we went anyway...except for #2 son who couldn't get out of bed and got left behind.

Three of us minus #2 daughter who took the pic!

#1 daughter tries clay bird shooting and had a ball. 'Just one more' was the comment heard throughout the session!

#2 daughter and the Old Army revolver. Note the person with the broomhandle mauser pistol in the background! The fellow's wife is shooting it - his dad brought it back from Germany at the end of WW2 as a battle trophy.

My turn!

A good time had by all. I got to clean everything.

Best Christmas wishes to you and your family and friends! Here's hoping 2013 is better than 2012 is ending.

Nice photos. Great to do a bit of family bonding via shooting.
Great target setup as well.
We are so anal in the UK about shooting steel targets close up!

Some great pictures, I am looking forward to the next report however it does make me ask the question... Does it ever get cold in your part of the world?
