I am selling two 7.62mm Target Rifles:

1. SWING "SIN71" one of the very first batch made with the serial number 68. It has a 30" Schultz & Larsen barrel with plenty of life left in it, it looks as though it has had little use. Sights are Wilkes and very good. The stock is beech dyed dark and has an accessory rail fitted. I am looking for £425

2. WHITTAKER "SPECIAL" Based on a modified No4 action in a one-piece stock, with a much improved trigger, it has a 28" barrel of unknown make which also looks as though it has had little use, Wilkes sights. I am looking for £395.

Due to log on difficulties I cannot post pictures but if interested PM me with your e-mail address and I will send them to you.....it may take a few days for me to reply due to aformentioned difficulties.

Assuming Targetman's Whitaker Special has the original barrel on it I can confirm it is a Ferlach.

Bert Whitaker made only 116 "Specials" and this particular example was delivered on 15/7/1974, its also worth noting that it is proofed to 20 Ton and the stock is Afromosia more commonly known as African Teak.
In short, a scarce rifle!
