Another from County Durham
Hi all,
My name is Chris and I live in Newton Aycliffe, I have been shooting from about the age of 7.
Still have the same passion, left the RAF a few years ago and have been using rimfire and shotgun.
Looking at joining Mayfair shooting in Sunderland soon....seems I have a passion for Black Powder as well...(god, I'm only 40 as well)
Hoping to learn a lot.
Best Wishes
Chris

Welcome aboard, ooman. You're near Dromia, he's a nice ooman despite his efforts to appear contrary. He has lots of shiny stuff you'll want to buy and plenty of sage advice to accompany it...

Welcome Chris. Don't forget there is also Bishop Auckland and District gun Club. Closer for you than the Mayfair. The website says that we aren't taking new members until Feb next year but that was put up in November/December as far as I'm aware so I would imagine we'll be taking on more soon.

Thank you for the warm welcome....lots to read on the forum, loads of very knowledgable people.....a wealth of information for me to tap into.
Bishop Auckland Gun Club would of been my first choice, it's only 5 mins away, I might just 'hang fire' a bit to see when they are taking on new members. I already have an application form from my visit last year from Stewart the club sec.
