Hi Folks,
New to the forum so though I'd best introduce myself.
Been shooting for about 10 years whenever I was in the USA, handguns & rifles.
Here in the UK I've been shooting for 3 years, NSRA certified Range Conducting Office for small bore ranges for the past 2 years.
Paper targets only, cute furry critters are safe from me.
Current collection is:
- Feinwerkbau Leicht 2700, single shot bolt action .22LR. Shoot it on indoor 25 yard range and outdoors at 50m and 100 yds.
- SIG 522 self loading .22LR, scoped and moderated until the can literally came apart in my hands a few months ago when I was taking it off... Original folding stock replaced with a Magpul PRS which is frankly way too much stock for such a little gun, but I like how it shifts the balance back towards me. I shoot it on our indoor 20 yd range standing 'offhand' stance and off a bipod or sandbag outdoors at 100 yds.
- Steyr AUG in UK Legal 'straight pull action', .223 Remmington/5.56 NATO, scoped. Had it modified by the nice chaps at Low Mill Ranges with their extended cocking handle and the removeable barrel system of the original military issue AUG reinstated. I shoot that off bipod or sandbags at 100, 200, 300 and 600 yds at Bisley.
See you all on the Range someday...
