I have noticed that when I log on I cannot view the for sale section, is this normal?

Yup, perfectly normal. When you have reached 30 posts you can view the section when logged in.

Actually, there is a work around that I discovered purely by accident, which was lucky for me as I bought a nice little rifle listed there!

We are aware of that workaround. I have on purpose not done anything about it because if I did it would mean all new users would not be able to use that function.

There is no prize for not adhering to the forum rules.

Thank you for pointing that out to me, I must have missed it as I read the house rules instead.

Also on the "forum header" it states use the for sale section. However my query was about viewing the for sale section; I think there is a difference.
