There were no calculators about...well not unless NASA had an office in Swansea...when I started doing accountancy...

Never owned one but I have used them in the past. These days I could still use a slide rule but I am not so sure about log tables.
I can still quote the superposition theorem though (What practical use is that eh?)

P.S. Taking a picture of an object like that in that sort of setting may lead to all sorts of misconceptions
