Well, Strathpeffer shot the May leg of S-Class Postal Competition - well, Andy and I shot it! To be honest I was just making up the numbers!
Yes, I know

I'll put them up once I've got them off my phone!
Results
Andy632 - 41 (Vx2)
Sandgroper - 12
Not great from my point of view but still good fun and well done Andy.

Targets - (blue dots - patching out last months scores!)
Andy's score card.

10 shots on target.
and mine

4 on target (Five hits but one off the scoring zone)
The 55gn factory ammo (PMC) just doesn't have the legs for S-Class!
I was planning to shoot the 257 today but a combination needing an eye test - I'm having trouble focusing my right eye (fortunately my left eye is my master eye, so I've been shooting the Rossi left handed) and a misfeed caused me to pack it away early.

On the other hand, I think the 257 might be starting to mature as a rifle.

Well done the scores are meaningless its the taking part that counts taking the time out to get involved. I applaud you Sir. clapclap
If I could find a range in the North East I would give it a go. But it does not look like it is going to happen any time soon.

Thank you, much appreciated. sign92
It seems you're not alone regarding a suitable range and/or range time.

On the otherhand Adam's cast boolit league looks like a good alternative. clapclap

No worries, June is the big one - complete competition from 300 - 600m at Cawdor - be there!
BTW, yesterday was 500m.

Now do I see a gauntlet thrown down Andy??
Notes to self - get some good target rounds put together in time for next month & don't get a sinus problem on a shoot day - like wot I did on Sunday. (Hence non participation in 500m) - Did manage to roughly zero two rifles though.
Ian
ps Well done Andy - good shootin'!

I would love to get involved but unfortunately living in the North East of England I just do not have access to ranges that would allow me to get involved in S Class. So there is no point in me trying. Adams 25 yard cast boolit bench rest is more of a reality. So I will give that my all.
A shame but nothing I can do about it I am afraid.

Go for it and give him some competition - I'm not!
