Hello everyone, my name is Richard and I'm from the Cannock area of Staffordshire, i have been shooting for the last 12 years and my current home club is Swadlincote RPC. I can say that over the last decade i have tried most of the major shooting disciplines, these include air gun, rim fire bench rest, clays, muzzle loading clays, full bore military rifle, muzzle-loading rifle, BPCR, black powder revolver, driven game, rough shooting and deer stalking.
I'm also very interested in military history and i'm active in a number of military re-enactment societies stretching from the Crimean war to ww2. allthough i have concentrated on Zulu war and the great war for the last few years. I also help out at my local regimental museum (staffords) and advise on firearms matters. I do enjoy reloading, especially for some obscure calibres, as you may have guessed i simply adore the Martini-Henry rifle in all its forms and i have spent a few years building a almost complete collection, i recently acquired a mark I which took a while to find. I hope to share my knowledge and experience about our shared hobby.

Welcome to the forum Richard, I am looking forward to seeing some photographs of you collection, there are a few members with a more than passing interest in the Zulu wars.
