Firearms Reference Books

I'm beginning to start the research stage of my MA dissertation, and on the prowl for reference books. The subject matter is British firearms development in the interwar and post second world war period, accessing the claim that the policy was driven by the desire to police the Empire rather than being suitable for European Warfare.
I currently have Laidlers book or the Sten and have just ordered the Bren Gun Saga, have also located the EM-2 Concepts and design and Skennerton's Enfield Saga in the British Library.
Does anyone know of anything that may be of interest? or wish to get rid of some, please bear in mind I'm working on a student budget.
