Whoooh! yet again I am reminded of why I hate these things. The .50BMG is one of the most spiteful ways of spending money I can think of...

Nothing like a 50 brings a such smile to your face, a face full of hot gas, a huge blast and whatever was on the floor nearby finding its way up your nose and into your fillings...
I know they're a bit marmite but its worth every penny

Oh, I don't know, an M134 has considerable silly grin value ...
And controlling a squadron of A-10s each with a full HE load on Salisbury Plain (danger area 30 km and it needs all of it) may be the most fun I've had on the ground with my clothes on!
and I do get that
Sorry, was a bit busy at the time with 8 in the circuit :shakeshout: :shakeshout: :shakeshout: :shakeshout: :shakeshout: :shakeshout: :shakeshout:

Cant beat the 50s. We have been practicing a fair amount and have developed/adapdeted a style which allows us to shoot them prone or from the bench without the recoil effecting target/sight picture. Basically you are now able to keep the scope fixed on the target whilst the shot is on its was down the range!
Helps with the shooting no end and really is reducing perceived recoil!
