Following on from my post in the non-related shooting section I am looking to try and acquire a replica or de-ac lee enfield to fill a load out for a british WW1 soldier for living history re-enactments.

I have looked on site like gunstar, milweb but I would also like to see if anyone here has anything they could offer up.

Terry Abram is churning them out all the time, I have his contact details if you do not know him.

One thing I will say about Terry is he seldom de-acts good shooters so nothing is lost as such so any de-act would be very original and equally tired however you could always do a cosmetic restoration so it looked closer to as it would have been for the 14-18 war.

Alternatively Ryton Arms probably have some at a price.

Have a word with Helston Gunsmiths in Helston ( yes, obvious I know!!) Ask for Rommell and he'll know what he has deact. They do quite a few.

Cheers,

Ovenpaa could I please have the details for contact? Rough and ready rifles will illustrate the point better.
