There was a 'good', OK interesting article a while ago where someone took an airsoft gun, gutted it and stuck a 10/22 inside to get the same result. Quite why is beyond me...

i Never really used holosight personally, but here is a interesting fact about the bushnell 51 holo sight, it was used by the film armourers of the last few patrick stewart star trek films as "phaser rifle" sights, maybe thats why some people use them, because it worked in the movies...

Salut,
I use an Eaotech & personaly think they are very usefull for rapid shooting . That is, of course, if you mount them the correct way around

Which appears to be not the case of the Gun-star seller and also more surprisingly this US policeman.... :cool2: ...

His Minimi looks OK but I can't help thinking that he would get some odd looks if he turned up with the Barrett.

Apologies for the cross post but your life is not complete if you haven't seen them. AFAIK they are all air soft with 1022s fitted.

The one in the Gunstar advert is a Sightmark UltraShot and is mounted the correct way around, the police officers however appears to be an EoTech and is, as you say the wrong way around

I really hope that was a publicity shot and not taken during an actual deployment
