I'm hoping to get a variation in to police scotland - formally Strathclyde, in the near future, I hope things have not slowed down since the amalgamation.

A mate put a 1 for 1 in with Police Scotland (Grampian) and the turn around was about was about week.

I'll be putting one in soon, and I'll be pleasantly surprised if I get it back in less than 6 weeks!

My problem was that I asked for stuff that was generally different, obscure or technical, which seemed to confuse them no end. It got to the point were my FEO (who is now unfortunately retired), said to me something along the lines of, "I know where you are coming from and asking for and I have no problems with it, but after this one leave it for a while because you're doing my boss' head in!" O:-) ;)

 I know what I'm going to ask for, but my biggest dilemma is deciding what rifle/s to sell! sign01

It'll be amusing to see the look of the new FEO's face when I explain that I want the spare barrels for the handi-rifle because I'm making a couple of wildcats - that should hold her attention and hopefully gloss over the other 22lr and S1 410*, I'll be asking for as well! ;)

*I was looking at a Springfield M6 Scout but I cannot justify the cost of it - not compared to a 22lr and S1 410. :bad:
