Black Labs free to a good home pending approval.

My friend just sent me this email just now.
I was not sure if the forum was the right place to post this really but then again, we are quite a few people on here and it is worth a try I think.

Please would you be kind enough to forward this email to help find these 2 lovely boys a family....

Mack & Moose have been staying with me since august 2010........this was originally a temporarily arrangement until their owner returned from Australia however circumstances have changed and they are now looking for a new family.

Mack & Moose are litter brothers........ they are 6 year old black Labradors.

They are looking for a new home as their owner has to care for a family member in Australia and after much thought has decided it would be in their best interest to be re-homed rather than put them through a massive journey/quarantine and climate change..........

Mack & Moose need a home together........... they cannot be split up.....
both dogs are castrated......fully vaccinated.... and very obedient.

They both have excellent recall although moose has more of a mind of his own than mack who is more of a follower.

They are great with my children (10 & 12)...... good around other dogs..... very easy boys.

Moose walks nicely on the lead......Mack pulls a little and needs constant reminders to walk to heal...... but once off lead out in the fields they don't go far from me.

They are both excellent around livestock and just ignore sheep/chickens etc on walks.

They are staying with me in mid Bedfordshire until the right home comes along............ a home check will be required to adopt these two.

It would be fantastic if they could stay fairly local ish to Bedfordshire.

if you would like more information on these two lovelies then please email

Dawn Smith alfred.smiths (At) btinternet.com or PM Christel for her telephone numbers.
Many thanks for reading and passing along.

These boys are 2 very very special boys and deserve only the best !!

Cor, I wish I didn't live in a small one bedded bungalow, i'd have had them in an instant. :(

I hope that they soon find a good home to go to. :)

Tell you something,

I am so in love with these boys however with two in the house already I simply can't take them.

Ovenpaa and I have already talked about moving the furniture (outside) in order to fit two more dog baskets.

TobyH and 20series will know how impossible it is to fit two more dogs into this house.

I hope they find a good home.

Christel what ever happens DON't let them go to the RSPCA !, I've been to my local one and the dogs there seem very stressed and unhappy,I wouldn't want to know that happened to these two.

Thanks for that Bobbob,

Dawn is already all that with Labrador rescue.
That is why she has the two hoodlums.

Hi Christel
I am a Labrador man myself and would love to take these two dogs from you and give them a good home, I have had lots of labs over the years but unfortunately for me my health restricts what I can do now, I have a lovely big Kennel all new and no dogs in it it is over 22Ft long and 6ft high and 6ft wide all on a flag base but empty , we have 6 dogs at the moment and two are Springer Spaniels and four are Jack Russels , we love our dogs very very much and treat them as any other member of the family, but my wife wont let any of them stay out in the Kennels even in the summer .

I am a lab man as I say , and if I did not have all the other dogs ( 6 ) which we love , I would jump at the chance of having your two lovely boys , please don't let them go to a rescue center , as I say if I was healthier I would have taken them now.

Please try this forum as there are some very nice and kind people on the forum, and someone may help !

I will endeavor to try and find someone who is suitable to take them and give them a good home.

Please keep me informed of your Quest to re- home these lovely boys.

All the Best

Regards
Steve
