New shotgun

Just bought a Winchester SXP and, in case anyone was considering buying one, thought I'd report that it's very good. Good fun pump action, very slick action and has some strange inertia assist thingy that part ejects the shell kinda like a semi (my, wasn't that technical). Also, for just over £300 you can't argue
So, if anyone is debating buying a Winchester branded Turkish pump, I would say go for it.

Chuck it seems to be similar to the Winchester 1300 Defender.
Ive got a Defender exactly like the one above. Chuck you've shot mine, remember? You used it and your Hatsan to excavate large holes at Gareloch Field Firing.

Yep, it's pretty much a re-branded and slightly updated Defender. It even uses the 1300 extension tubes, now holds 9+1

Looks nice. Looks like it still has too long a reach (as do most pumpers) for my wee arms so I am stuck with Hatsans and the very accurate CZ HC-P.
Happy New Shotgun.

Chuck, I made an interesting discovery the other day... the new Nordic MXT extension tubes for the Benelli Nova/Supernova fit the Hatsan pumps perfectly :)
Can supply pics if anyone is interested...

The 1300 is the best pump gun I've ever owned, I still have my 20 but I keep it more for sentimental reasons now though.
