Just thought you might be interested in this short video of how I make simple exploding targets with easily obtainable material - Adds a bit of fun to a plinking session, my grandsons love them.

The fun you can have with match heads! I remember filling tennis balls with 100's of the things in my misspent youth and having great fun with those!
Quite like the idea of making some larger ones of these, maybe in the bottle of a softdrink can and using them as the stop plate for PSG

The next step up might be the little aluminium dishes for nightlights. Much bigger and you start getting into a lot of matches. Of course you can always buy the real thing.

Plus you get told off when you just BUY something, it has to be a bodge job or nothing! :roll: :lol:

Not really unless the impact was to cause a spark or raise the temperature to a critical level. If black powder was to ignite with a good wack old Rev Forsyth wouldn't have gone to the bother of inventing the percussion cap in around 1810.
Only in the film do spark fly off lead bullets. :)
