Czech Republic Shooting

Salut,
I recently organized a 3 days class in the Czech Republic for some uk friends who wanted to learn more about practical shooting. I choose the format of NTTC as it teaches and focuses on exactly that : practical shooting. NTTC is a combat shooting method based on the experience and the work of two Vietnam veterans Jeff Cooper and Chuck Taylor.
In a nut shell, NTTC covers the principles of safe shooting but also resolution of shooting incidents, speed reload, shooting on the move, shooting at moving targets etc... It has now been adopted as the standard shooting method by most if not all SF & SWAT units around the world and is now even taught as the basic instruction by various armies such as the Swiss, French, Belgium ones to name few.
On the 1st day we started with basic instruction on the Vz58.
The 2nd and 3rd day we covered the first NTTC module of pistol shooting, using Glocks 17 or 19.
The instruction was provided by a freshly retired French military Instructor with a wealth of "hot" operational experience who is now instructor to various police forces and an author on combat weapons & shooting methods. Some how I ended up as the translator
We managed to squeeze in a bit of fun shooting with some modern & classic weapons : Colt 1911, P38, sub-nose 38SP, Uzi, Vz 61, Garand, FAL, AK47, RPK, Spas, Dragunov etc..etc... All in all a very pleasant & instructive way of spending 3 days shooting near Prague and a happy bunch of roast-beefs and a big smilling frog
