We have just spent four days in Suffolk, a county that has won my heart.
While there we went to Riflecraft where I blagged the last zombie flask they had off Bentley. :good: Top man.

Bentley took time out to show us the entire place, we were both impressed with what we saw. Good set-up.
They did get some money out of us, Ovenpaa spotted a smock he had to have tongueout

Bentley is a good man and, to be honest, the chaps there are all solid.

As for Suffolk, did you ever doubt that the county was awesome? Not only does the sun choose to rise there first every day, but your scandi-hooligan ancestors loved it so much they kept raiding the place!

Actually if one compares the two coasts, that of Suffolk and that of Jutland, they are similar in some ways, it felt almost Danish :)

Loads of heather and plantations/forests, even some of the houses look Scandinavian.

It was good to meet up with Bentley and have a wander around the workshops and retail premises, I was certainly envious of the space and facilities they have. :good:

Suffolk itself was very enjoyable, we have driven through many times on the way to Harwich so it seemed odd to stop short of the ferry and spend a few days in the area however it worked out very well for us and we got to see a few things we have talked about but not managed to visit in the past.

I am so pleased that Riflecraft have got themselves a propper website at long last. I always suspected that they were doing a lot more than their old site indicated.
Good to see that they are doing the full range of Vortex scooes with seversl under £200.

Website...not everything they do is on the website, always worth calling them to ask.

Vortex...we had a look through several of the products and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality.

Vortex - very nice gear and a wide spread of prices as well. They do an 8x monocular rangefinder that at GBP92.00 is stunningly good value.

Ah yes, the tactical one. I saw one u at Barton Road the other week, noted the mil graduations and the huns head marks for rangefinding and put one immediately into my "Must Have" list for winter. It's a toy for sure in my role, but it's about as gucci as you could wish for and is optically beautiful.
