I have recently sold a SMLE to Richard Stork owner of the Devizes gunsmiths. A excellent guy to do business with I found him to be very helpful and a thoroughly nice chap.

I just bought an absolutely jaw dropping M1903A4 from Richard, great deal. As ever, its always a pleasure to do business with Richard, he's hugely knowledgeable of his craft with a genuine enthusiasm for his trade.
A good chat, a coffee (or two) and look through his superb stock, I have yet to find a better source for classic Military rifles !
As ever, thanks mate!

I will, FAC has just gone in for variation, so as soon as I get her home, pics and report on the forum!
Richard always has a very good selection of military and classic firearms, all in excellent shooting order, carefully checked over and bore gauged (it amazes me how many RFD's trade rifles without gauging them)

Take a look at the stock, some mouth watering rifles to be had....it's not often you see a line up that includes
the L42 and a SMLE mkV! (seen and handled both of these fine rifles and both are without doubt the very best of their breed, just can't see how you could find better)
I do a bit of business with Richard from time to time and have always found him to be a very honest and straight forward person to deal with (which is refreshing in this day and age)....top bloke!

I do look at his site from time to time, I just wondered if he had anything `special` that wasn't on his website... I'll keep checking.
