Looking to get parts to convert a m2 for practical.
Does anybody know what extension tube sits flush with the 24" barrel? I think it's +6
Don't want the tube sticking out past the end of the barrel.
Thanks

Yes a +6 Nordic Components tube will be about 10mm shorter than the barrel, adding their extended cap will take it just slightly longer but will get you an extra round in the gun.
AW Armoury have the new style Nordic tubes in stock at a good price.

And I'm guessing adding a extended choke would bring them back in line?
So with a m2 field with +6 and large cap I could get 10+1 shells in the gun?

I not sure if the extended caps fit the MXT tubes but I will double check. I only have the standard MXT end caps in stock at the moment.

What size cartridges do use for their capacity claims as I tried a +6 tube and could only fit 9 in the mag of 67.5mm cartridges, so I ended up going for the +7 tube which I initially fitted 11 in the mag but the spring was only just too short to reliably load the last cartridge, so with new longer spring I can do 10 & 3/4 of 67.5mm cartridges which is ok as start with 8+1 loaded then can stick another 2 in if required as I do load 2 anyway but I've ended up with a longer tube than I wanted really.

The following set up will allow 10 rounds in a +6 tube.
Nordic Components +6 tube with the longest oversize cap that they make added & using a Benelli Long Spring & Brownells own aluminium follower both spring & follower are available from Brownells.
I dont recomend using the Nordic supplied spring, they are both too long & have a very stiff spring rate, which is fine for a gun that is perhaps in service or for self defence in some countries, but for competition use which is what we want, they are of limited use & are not best suited to competition.

Thanks for that, I only got the tube Thursday evening and then Saturday afternoon I was sorting my stuff out for H4H on Sunday and found the spring I was given was so stiff you couldn't really load anymore than 6 rounds, so had to use the Nordic one, I trimmed it down so it had about 8 inches excess and it worked ok so I left it for the match, will have a fiddle with it and see how I go.
