101 Rifle Club All Distance Challenge - Altcar Ranges

The 101 Rifle Club will be hosting its first All Distance Challenge at Altcar Ranges in Merseyside on Sunday the 24th November 2013. The competition will be for F/TR, F Open and Sporter classes. Full details are on the attached entry form but any queries please get in touch. All welcome. I think I'm down for the brews and sausage making.

Quick question on this.
Recently in what have been traditionally Target Rifle Matches, F-Class have been accommodated for using their own targets (after what appeared to be a lot of whining from the Effers).
So why are TR shooters not being catered for in F-Class matches? After all fair is fair, we accommodate you but you ignore us.

Steve,
I don't think there is any particular intention to disadvantage TR shooters in this case. Its probably more to do with the circumstances of the club which is that most of its members are 'Effers' of one sort or another (apart from me
). In the circumstances (time and range space) I think we had to go one way or the other. There are a lot of pure TR comps run at Altcar; our friends at the Altcar RC run a good few as does the County of Lancaster RA.
This is why I, as one of the few TR shooters in the club, have been relegated to sausage management.... emrolleyes
