VEPR 12

So, my Vepr 12 got its baptism at the AAW slug matches.........................
My scores were decidedly average BUT.........not one jam and the fast reload meant I never ran out of time. I had not expected a high score as I have only fired 5 rounds since the box was opened - just to check zero and function with my chosen brand of slug. But I think the scores were good for a first outing with a completely new gun !
With a bit of practice, I think this will be the ideal slug gun for me.
Here it is with scope, but I removed that as it was going to catch ejecting cases and cause potential problems.
Went with a ghost ring set up instead. This is just a picatinny sling attachment used as a makeshift ghost ring but it works surprisingly well and cost 80% less.
I got a great deal on spare mags ..........................as long as I bought in quantity.
