Variation - What to get?

Having just sold my 223 rifle I will have 2 slots up for a free variation (rifle and moderator) but have no idea what to get. It would be a terrible shame not to take advantage of the free variations :good:

So, here's the tricky bit .................................

No point in getting another rifle for outdoor target shooting as my club only does 1 shoot a month (and getting there is a problem due to my current health problems) and my Steyr or Howa .308s already do the job nicely.

For indoor (25M) I have the choice of the 22LR, 44mag under lever and the 300 Blackout Handi Rifle (current favourite) or either of the .308s loaded down to suit.

I already have an open slot for another 300 bolt action rifle & mod and having seen that the VZ58 may be available in Trigger Release in that calibre that would certainly be worth looking at or a straight pull from Bradley Arms etc.

I've been waiting since July for Suffolk Rifles to get the NEA-15 in 300Blk they said was on its way for me but that doesn't look like it's happening.

Which still leaves me with the option of either loosing the 2 available slots or finding something I can use indoors. First thoughts were a 22LR LBP but I had a Buckmark and didn't get on with it, just not the same as my old S&W 29 44mag

Next thought was a centre fire calibre single shot pistol, I believe Mr Badger has one of the sort I'm thinking of, I've previously shot a 7.62 single shot "back in the day" but haven't seen any when looking around the net. The Taurus/Alfa 38/44 LBPs are not an option as I hate the wrist brace.

So, suggestions please :good:

I know a man with a very nice Uberti high wall carbine in 357

Or a 22 bolt action for more sedate practice sessions

Or what about a classic single shot, 310 or 577/450 Martini...or a 12.7 Swedish Rolling Block

I have a .308 bolt action pistol, use it for shooting at longer outdoor ranges, great fun.

Easily made from a howa with a laminated thumb hole stock, and a hacksaw
