Shooting an AK47 underwater

Not sure if this was on before but pretty fascinating how the water reacts with the pressure of the round and muzzle blast. Pretty clear filming too...must be great to have such freedom.

So why doesn't the barrel blow up? We are all taught to ensure that the barrel is free from obstructions - including water!

Very cool tongueout
It's interesting how quickly a bullet destabilizes underwater - Also how far the bullet is out the gun before the barrel flexes down...let alone before it kicks up!
Someone posted (can't find it) some piccies a few weeks back of underwater ammo for AKs...they were more like bolts than bullets...
