Gallery Rifle Ranking Tables
Most GR shooters are aware of the classification system run for the 7 most popular GR&P events:
Timed & Precision 1
Timed & Precision 2
Multi Target
Phoenix A
Advancing Target
The 1500
The Bianchi
All open classified shoots offer competitions adhering to these classifications and after every classified shoot the results are crunched shooters reclassified if necessary. The classification database is kept on the Galleryrifle website.
In addition - what we have tried this year is an overall ranking table for the three most popular Gallery Rifle events - namely:
Timed & Precision 1
Multi Target
The 1500
These tables are classification free and simply list the bullet score ranking of anyone who shoots the above events in a classified competition in any gun type. There are currently 14 recognized Open and Classified Gallery Rifle meetings on the domestic UK circuit and the tables automatically list the best 4 scores for anyone who enters these meetings. The tables will actual list anyone who enters at least one single event but to be in the running you have to have at least 4 scores lodged.

The 2013 season was the inaugural year for the rankings but the stats gurus assure me they have honed their techniques and are going to be running them again for the 2014 season.
A side effect of these ranking tables means we are giving the national and international team captains an easy time of perusing their pool of shooters for eventual team selection.
