I've just fitted a trigger kit to my brno and wiped it all down afterwards ... Is it a good idea to put a couple of drops of gun oil on the trigger mechanism (sear etc) or is it better to leave well alone ?

I use lighter fluid on my triggers and that is usually enough to clean and lightly lubricate. Oil attracts dirt which can be a problem.

I do not put any oil or lubricant in the trigger mech. As said, oil attracts dirt, dirt accumulates, gunges mechs up and either makes them inoperable or, unsafe.

As above.
I flush through with lighter fluid but that is on the Jewel which will stick if you oil it, and is a stainless item, so the oil in the fluid is enough to keep it going.
This is the manufacturers advice for the jewel.
My Jewel is flushed through after every firing.
In my other heavier triggers I have used a light PTFE oil or even from lube on the likes of No4s etc.
