Picture question

I tried to upload pictures of my guns today and a avatar.
It said the pictures were to big, can i shrink them down some how ?
This has proberbly already been asked.

Pictures....800x600 pixels and less than 3.5mb

So you need to resize your pictures and possibly compress.

I use irfanview its a free down load and really easy to use.

How can I get a picture to be less that 3.5 millibit (mb)? Surely you mean 3.5 MB.
