Gents,

Looking to find an outdoor rifle club near the Pontypool, S.Wales Area, I've found a number of clubs West and North wales, but seems a lack of outdoor clubs in the south wales area...

I'm looking to do a probationary membership before applying for my FAC.. atm i'm only done Clay shooting, and want to do some outdoor target shooting.

Ones I've found are Tondu RPC, Swansea RPC, Offas Dyke (not a clue where they are based!) all are 50miles + away from me... Perhaps i'm looking in the wrong place?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Welcome.
There is a thread already running in "just starting" for clubs in Brecon area.
There may be club info already covered that may help you.

I shoot there...its only 100 & 200 yards BUT the owner Richard is a top bloke and the members are friendly......well worth a go.

Its open nearly every Sunday not just occasionally.

No calibre restrictions.

Hi QuantumX

I have been asking this question a lot lately and have started a post called Clubs in Brecon and another post about Pontypool.

I have had loads of people helping me out everyone on this forum is a great help.

If you look at the other to posts which are in the "Just starting" section you may fine some info there.

If not have a look at the post in "New members" under "Hello from a surprisingly sunny South Wales"

Hope this helps if not PM me once you have enough posts and ill gladly give you all the information i have gathers.

Hope this helped Joseph Pugh
