Hello all.

Just a quick introduction as per the house rules!

I have joined the forum to learn and share knowledge. I can be serious but mostly like a laugh so may attempt to lace some questions and answers with appropriate humour now and again so apologies in advance. I have a 308 Win, 223 Rem and 22 rimfire semi auto and use them soley for targets.

I have built up a fair bit of kit for reloading but still need a few more items and am looking for Redding dies in the UK at the moment. I'll post in the wanted section when I'm permitted.

One of my first posts though will be advice on a 20MOA canted riser as I just ran out of clicks on my Nightforce at 1100yards on Saturday so had to hold over using the reticle.

Anyway great to be here and look forward to talking with you guys.

All the best.

Welcome to the forum from near Cambs.

Have you thought about Forster as an alternative to Redding, I use both and do have a preference for Forster these days. Open a new thread on the elevation issue and you should get plenty of answers.

Hi no didn't consider Forster but only as they hadn't hit my inexperienced radar yet. I'll research now thank you very much for the tip appreciate that.

PS thanks for the welcome all.

I much prefer the feel of the Forster, bushings are a tad cheaper than Redding and the dies themselves are significantly cheaper than Redding without loosing on quality, the Forster bush/bump die is brilliant and the Ultra micrometer seater very repeatable. We use them both in standard chamberings and wildcats and they certainly do the job tongueout
