Precision Sharp and Snap Shooting Match 2 Aug 14

The Highpower Rifle Association is running a Precision Sharp and Snap Shooting Match at Bisley on 2 Aug 2014 with all profits of the entry fees going to the Royal British Legion, this is a repeat of the 2011 and 2012 events. The match will be designed to allow many of the regular Civilian Service Rifle shooters and others to get their Remingtons, AWs, AICS mounted custom builds and other bolt guns out for a day on challenging targets for a good cause as well as allowing their CSR rifles to be used. We are hoping to have up to 48 entries on the day and some sponsorship has already been offered to support the event from precision rifle manufactures and custom builders.
Whilst this is all KDS on Century Range the targets are challenging they allow the shooter to engage targets subject to the ability of their equipment and themselves and offer the shooter something different.
The CoF is still requires minor tweaks and agreement of target sizes, then it will be subject to NRA approval, but will be shot from 100 to 600 yards and will consist of about approximately 100+ rounds. Competitors will be required to do their turn pulling targets in the Butts. It is currently intended to offer trophies in 3 classes for the morning short range stage and the afternoon longer range stage.
Accuracy International has very kindly offered a tour of their Portsmouth factory as a prize for 3 lucky individuals (subject of security checks and all attending at the same time). As in previous years the available sponsorship prizes will be drawn from a squadding number raffle so everyone has a chance to come away with something.
Entry fee is £60.00 for those who enter before 15 Jun 14 and £75.00 for those that enter after 15 Jun 14. Insufficient entries will result in match cancellation and return of entry fee.
CoF and Entry Forms will be available soon.
