Well I had a moment of weakness after having a windfall from some inheritance that I forgot was coming my way.

Found out through facebook that Suffolk Rifle Company had just brought in a batch of Beretta ARX160s in .22, I called first thing this morning and bought it there and then, will hopefully be receiving it later this week. (apparently apart from Neal himself I am the first person in the UK to buy one)

Neal was a top bloke, had a excellent conversation with him, he was helpful and informative and would seriously like to do business with him again.

I didn't know what one was and a quick google revealed that you may need to check for the following before you fire yours

Not knocking your new baby, just passing on the message in case you have the same issue.

I have to say my dealings with Neal and Suffolk Rifles fall very heavily into the "As I've yet to have a 'positive' experience there, I'll refrain from commenting further." camp.

Not a bad price at all, I was expecting a few hundred more tbh

If I didn't already have a 15-22 I'd strongly consider one of these, not least because of the ambi controls straight out of the box (although no reversible ejection on the .22 model).

I bought it along with one more 20 round magazine and a Walther RS55 scope. Will have photos as soon as I pick it up from Wilson and Wilson later this coming week.

Charlotte, no worries I know what you mean, however, I saw the video awhile ago as I tend do try and look around for various reviews from 'the press' to user reviews, that is the only negative one I can find, and even then his other video is positive, from my understanding, that has been the only one to have made it out of the factory in that state and it has since been rectified.

phaedra1106, I was going to go for a Smith and Wesson, however, I always like something a bit different and as a result this hit a cord with me, they have been available in the US for around a year now if not a little longer, all the reviews (bar the above comment) have been exceptional and on par with the reception that the S&W got after around the same time after it's release.

Obviously I'll reserve further judgement until I've actually had a chance to whack some ammo through it as the proof is always in the pudding.

I think both of them are lovely rifle. But I would have gone for the S+W, because there are lots of great reviews about it.
