Hi everyone,

are there any good online shops who carry AR15 parts and maybe Saiga and MKA parts in the UK?

Its always hard to get parts with all the ITAR nonsense and it would be nice to have another possible source.

http://www.lannertactical.com seem to have a good reputation here. I think you'll need to check with them regarding ITAR export though.

ITAR should not directly apply to UK produced parts parts leaving the UK and there are a few who will hold parts for the AR15 such as Bradley Arms and Lantac, both who as far as I know export.

The problem over here is we need an export licence for just about every firearm component as they are deemed to be 'Arms and ammunition parts and accessories thereof' even if it is just to Europe, try moving things further afield and it gets even worse. As an example empty, un-primed brass cartridges need export paperwork to be officially shipped outside of Europe and anyone trying to circumnavigate the process will be found out, given the level of X-Ray examinations taking place these days it is just a matter of time.

The good news is the export paperwork is fairly easy to raise once you are in the system and understand the process, downside is it is time consuming to prepare and takes a while to come through and some dealers do not want the inconvenience.

Yes the parts are already in the EU anyway.

Some US manufactures like for example Nordic Components do not allow their dealer to sell outside of their country but then you have to place a domestic order and have the parts shipped to an domestic address

For the most part I can buy the parts around here but every once in a while the parts are out of stock or the ones you are looking for are not available. So its nice to have other in-EU options.

If you are after small parts under $ 100 value, some US based dealers until recently were selling to the UK.

You know what? We need a compiled list of online vendors/RFDs made into a sticky thread...

It's really difficult finding parts and guns online when half of the RFDs don't list what they have in stock and vendors don't have an online shop!
I know it's not easy for all RFDs to keep a list up to date, some just don't want to, but it doesn't help a buyer and may send a sale elsewhere.

Yes unfortunately all full-bore semi-auto (and pump-action) rifles are prohibited in the UK, only semi-suto .22's are permitted. If the gun is a full-bore calibre it has to be manually operated (straight-pull, lever-action etc)
