Hi,
I'm shooting the McQueen's at the Phoenix on Sunday for the first time, using my L1A1.
Just wanted to know the commands to start, ie do you start with a round chambered, or just the charged mag in the rifle.
Also is it best to have the two sighters and the 10 comp rounds in the same mag, or use a separate mag for the sighters and the comp.
Thanks
Mc Queens at the Phoenix

Re: Mc Queens at the Phoenix
Have your 2 sighters separate and your mag with 10 rounds ready.
After sighters are finished.
Commands are "with 10 rounds load and make ready"
You will be asked if you are ready and you confirm or not verbally.
The command is then given "on the castle watch and shoot, watch and shoot"
Just got back from shooting it.
Alan and Jason running it are firm but fair!

Thanks, does load and make ready mean chamber a round?

Thanks again, I know I sound a bit pedantic, but don't want to get anything wrong.
Hopefully I can have a few goes.

Just mention to them its your first time.
It was actually my first time today with a "proper" rifle.
I have shot it on a club day with my No4 and K11 with open sights.
Its surprising that its actually possible!
