Hi
Anyone know which of the .22lr have sleeved barrels, ie thin barrel with another sleeve over it.

I know the S+W MP15-22 have a solid barrel but I was looking at the other makes as an alternative gun to the 15-22 and try to avoid sleeved

Needs to be a Semi Auto for practical .22 shooting, price around £600-£750

If that's right could it be ALL Umerax made guns are sleeved ?

Pretty sure that my GSG StG44 is sleeved. Don't know about the other GSGs

To my understanding the ARX160 is the exception to that rule.

SR-22 has a medium heavy profile, solid barrel.

Whats the full designation/name of the SR-22, is it a Ruger ?

How can you tell if the Beretta ARX160 is solid, I think the flash hider is pinned on,not threaded, is this also true ?

Yes, it's a Ruger SR-22. In short a 10/22 with a Nordic Components chassis system.

Just spoken to a mate who works for GMK, who will be importing these. The ones currently in the UK are grey imports by Suffolk Rifle. There have been several hundred pre sold to gunshots around the country and they are expecting delivery around beginning of July.

He can't remember but thinks that the barrel is solid with a 1/2"x28 thread.

Looked at the ones Suffolk Rifle had, couldn`t quite make up my mind. shouldn`t be any problem with a grey import I guess.
Nice if GMK could get them earlier,my wallet is too heavy with folding stuff at the moment.
