I see you are shooting the above .22 on your Bora vids, is it a Walther make or the GSG make. ?
What is it like in real life, reliablility, stripping for cleaning. 30rd mags, scope mount etc.
I am thinking getting one as a change from the S+W MP15-22.
Any pics ?
Anyone else got one ?

Its one of the first batch GSG models. Up until yesterday i'd have said the reliablility was pretty much spot on (for a .22 semi). However i had all manner of problems yesterday. In fairness this usually means its not been put back together exactly right, and it must be EXACTLY right.
If i was buying an MP5 copy again i'd get the Umarex/Walther version as they are made of better materials (still not proper MP5 spec though). They are however harder to clean because they don't strip down as far as easily. If your cleaning regime is off the reliability will suffer. The GSG on the other hand can be taken completely to pieces, but as mentioned above this can cause other problems
Heres some pictures (N.B. it now has a UMP style stock on which is much more solid that the collapseable stock shown here)

I've owned both, the S&W is streets ahead in reliability. A mate at my club has just picked up and H&K 416 and it's really nice, great weight and very solid feeling.

Is not the 416 a sleeved make do ment for airsoft price of s***?
I've heard nothing but badness about the hk 416.....I'm going for either the Bradley arms lantac or s&w.....lantac is like 2.5k! But very nicely made, the Bradley looks good too and I like the guy makes them very professional....the smith ticks mist of the boxes but I want a cqb or 12.5 inch barrel, the spikes is supplied by a guy ide never buy from again and to be fair ain't that good (in my opinion). I wonder if I could chop the barrel on a smith?

You can buy the MP15-22 with a 12" barrel from at least one UK provider (do a google search for MP15-22 compact model). In fact because the barrel is a one peice unit that starts inside the receiver you end up with a 10.5" visible barrel length.

Well running Man, my Spikes are fine, quality is good. I have heard that Wayne isn't everyones cup of tea.
What makes you think that Spikes aren't any good? Is it your relationship with the supplier that has tainted your view of the product?

Thanks Mark
Your input was helpful, still not sure of which is better, might be a close thing.
Is your rail able to take a proper scope, say 3-9x40 ?
Lots of people have Smith`s, I fancy something different and reasonably accurate for 25-30yds.
Heard the Beretta ARX160 in .22 is good, again something different :shakeshout:

I know people with the GSG's and they are happy with them, I also know people with the Umarex colt & HK416 & Uzi, again all happy.
