This is one of those rarities you don't see that often , there are a couple of others within the club though .
Barnett made these in 1947 originally there were only 250 made although a few others were said to have been made from the rest of the parts that had been produced .
See here for a full description courtesy of the HARC web site , with acknowledgement to Terrence Smith for producing all the relevant information . http://www.rifleman.org.uk/The_Barnett_ ... 0Rifle.htm
This rifle is No. 198 , it has Parker Hale sights fitted , scope blocks on the barrel which was manufactured by Phoenix 28" long [ stamped on muzzle ] the stock I don't think is the original very well made and old , the cheek rest had a piece of timber screwed to it which was a bit of a dogs dinner so I removed it and refurbished the stock . Home made quick loader included .
The rifle weighs in at about 16 1/2 lbs , fantastically engineered rifle .
Rifle can be viewed at the club range .
£250.00 + Transfer fees
Thanks for looking Dave
