2nd Strathpeffer S-Class Competition
Strathpeffers 2nd S-Class class competition was held today at Cawdor. It was shot over 200, 300 and 500m with 5 scored shots and 2 sighters at each range.
The results are as follows -
BlackburnBucccaneer (.222) - 69 pts
SM1 (.308) - 60 pts
Sandgroper (.257) - 58 pts
SM2 (.243) - 54 pts
Andy632 (.223) - 51 pts
SM3 (7-08) - 36 pts
SM4 (.223) - 24 pts (aged 11)
DW58 (.308) - 59 pts (shot with front rest, not bipod)
It was a great day, today. I'll do a more comprehensive write up (with pictures) once I've had something eat and wound down a bit!

Fantastic result, and thanks to all involved. Proud of Blackburnbuccaneer (my son Jamie) and of my (not counted) theoretical third place.

A particular note of the fine performance made by 11yo Jacob who did a great job for such a youngster, we'll need to look out for him in the future.

It was indeed a good day and interesting to participate in a different discipline.

Nah, no point, they were shooting at a bigger target!DW58 wrote:Do we have the F-Class result?
Lane 2 S-Class, Lane 3 F-Class.
The view from 400m looking over my 257.
And a relaxed firing point at 500m

Yes, very good to see but it would nice if other clubs gave it a try.Dougan wrote:Good turn out...it's catching on
