Afternoon...

#1 Post by Doz »

Hello you lot...

Only discovered this forum yesterday, it looks like a winner so thought I'd better join and lower the tone (only joking - I hope)!

I'm based on the Surrey/West Sussex border and have been shooting on and off for around 25 years. Took a long 'rest' after the pistol ban and only reapplied for my ticket in about 2004 when I discovered the wonders of black powder pistols. Since then I've got back into full bore rifle, mostly 'historic' stuff - service rifle etc. but also the occasional McQueen comp, with a bit of TR thrown in - which I have to say I'm bl**dy useless at! Had a go at mini-rifle last year, great fun but just didn't have the time to keep it up. Also do a bit of bunny-bashing when the mood takes me (or the freezer's empty).

Cheers!

Thanks for the welcomes! I do show my face at Bisley very occasionally but mostly I shoot the rifles at Dorking and the blackpowder at Lingfield and Dormansland RC.

Hello Doz...and welcome to the forum...all tastes are catered for...hunters, paper punchers, clay bashers and the odd case of blagging...some sections have a public health warning so beware...we're a good natured bunch really.

Hi Doz
It's not the pace of life that concerns me, it's the sudden stop at the end!
