Is this for collection or actually adjusting? Peter Laidler would claim a brass punch and mallet are the correct adjustment tools.

I'm surprised no one's churning these out today. I couldn't make one, but it wouldn't be too hard, no?

Thanks Blu, I did contact them several days ago awaiting a reply.

Hi Tower75
Several others make them but are out stock at the moment.

For just using buy a small G clamp. Cut the metal pad off the end of the threaded rod and smooth that over with a fine file until it has a rounded shape. Then put a bit of bodge tape over the other end of the G to stop it marking. Benefit of this version is that you don't have to take the nose cap off. In fact a No 4 clamp will do just as well. Original SMLE clamps are a pain to use - although nice to have with the brass scale on them.

Hi Watcher thanks for the reply but I have to take the nose caps off my 3 smle's to move the foresight as the ears do not have holes in them, so I may alter a G clamp if I cant find a proper adjuster.
