My first attempt at double taps at the slug match on Saturday .................

I believe that the upper shot was the first one in each double - ie, the brake is forcing the barrel down placing the second shot lower !!!

Need to move the red dot forward though. Just fitting a picatinny rail in place of the factory rearsight today. Fitting it above the ejection port causes 5% FTE.

Any issue with different cartridge lengths? Or, will it eat anything?

The first brand I tried ( which is what I used to use in Hatsan and Benelli before that ) worked so I have not tried anything else.

Its the S+B sport stuff that NRA sell.

I am told that the crimp matters - ie, it prefers a rolled sort of crimp rather than the more squared off crimp you sometimes find on cheaper ammo ? Cannot confirm that though - again, my existing ammo already had the rolled crimp so not tried other types of crimp.
