34mm rings

#1 Post by pe4king »

Having just fitted my rifle into an MDT Tac 21 chassis I find that my scope rings are too low due to the forend.
I have an as new set of 34mm March medium rings and would like to if possible do a trade for a set of high rings.
WHY

It's a Wanted ad. If you don't know what the three letter acronym means then please don't spam his post because you are the only one who doesn't understand what he's talking about.

If its any consolation - I had exactly the same problem with my Tac21 - I had bought a medium TET 30mm Unimount for my Vortex Viper PST 6-24x50 FFP scope only to fine that it was too low in two respects, both to gain enough clearance over the MDT skelton stock and the full length Picatinny rail on the forend.

I believe MDT are now offering forends without the full length rail on top, but bearing in mind how long I had to wait for it, another special would be too long.
