Hi All,

Been reading this forum for a couple of weeks now so i thought i should sign up and say hi.

After a recent trip to Vegas during which me and a few guys went to a range for the a couple of hours (which turn out to be most of the day shooting all their various guns), so on my return and after checking with the missus i have decided to join my local gun club as i have the shooting bug!!! I have just joined a my local shooting club and as a complete noob i am sure i am going to have loads of questions over then next few months.

Can anyone recommend a decent set of ear protectors and safety glasses that i can wear over my prescription glasses?

Play your cards close to your chest with shooting and the other half, in the vast majority of cases they can think of better things to spend the money on!

Mine couldn't tell you how many rifles I own, and I plan on keeping it that way.

For glasses the cheap top gun ones from eBay are pretty good and have a prescription lens inserts. They might go over normal glasses too, I'll have a look.
Welcome to the forum :-)

Welcome to the forum Matty, I would also say the MSA Sordin, they are quite pricey however they should last a lifetime and work incredibly well.

Wait until your partner starts shooting, then it starts to get really expensive...

Tell me about it, full-bore ammo cost doubled over night and the 22lr consumption has more than doubled. sign01

But Welcome Matty , I'll be Cumbria next week, possibly shooting something with some friends who live there. What club have you joined?
