What size?
Tried Ebay?
There's a couple of specialist dealer that punt such things out cheap on there
I can do the MTM Zombie boxes. but they're plastic.

Re: ammo tin
Try your local Army surplus store outlets. They usually have a few and that's generally where I pick my tins up.

Before you completely discount them - the plastic ones are lighter, don't rust, usually have newer seals, are lockable, stackable and are designed to match the internal capacity of standard 50 cal boxes. They are thankfully also available in non-'zombie' pattern! I stopped using metal ones completely after I found the plastic ones. There's also a 30 cal version (half height) which I find a more suitable size for a day's ammo.nearly there wrote:Im really looking for metal as its to transport rounds to the range/grounds

I rarely use them to move ammo about in but if I did not have a reasonable collection of them I would use the plastic ones, they are very good.

Re: ammo tin
Picked up a couple of brand new ones at Bisley on Sat. £10 each they were.
It's not the pace of life that concerns me, it's the sudden stop at the end!
