Manufactured sometime between May and December 1916 by Winchester (according to Highwood Classic Arms).

A very nice condition original rifle in good order that has not been arsenal refurbished. Retains the original long range volley sights.

Mauser-style action with 5-shot internal magazine. The bore is excellent with sharp rifling.

Offered for sale at £500.

In the last three years I've shot only 250 rounds through this gun (100 x PPU and 150 handloads).

450 x Sellier & Bellot 7.92/.311 11.7g/180gr FMJ (# No. 2909) also for sale.

Weekend bump!

Great condition for the age. Standard specification in .303 for British service. The bore is excellent and a very usable rifle.
