Not sure about your specific question but I have the CZ455 in a laminate thumb hole stock with an LEI mod the same diameter as the bull barrel.

I absolutely love this gun and don't even pack a .22 for lamping trips now.

.17 HMR has some haters. There was a bad batch of ammo that did the rounds a couple of years ago and of course forget going subsonic.

Ammo costs are nowhere like the .22. It's relatively pricey.

My rifle from new was a little scratchy in its bolt operation and I sat an entire evening working the bolt and lubing everything. It's now not much difference in feel to my Sako's.

That laminate stock is superb and the thumb hole gives instant, repeatable position. It's fantastic and I'd love it on a number of my rifles.

I wasn't keen on CZ having always saved my pennies to hunt with Sako but having actually got hands on in the shop the Sako Quad was forgotten.

So my answer to your question is I don't know but check out the 455 before you buy anything else.

Agree with countryman above.

I have a 455 with the thumbhole stock - excellent.

There was some initial bolt stiffness but it gets better though.

It shoots very well from an ergonomic and accuracy point of view.

Got the trigger kit and just replaced the spring - I suggest doing this as the original trigger weight is a little high for accuracy.
