Remington 887 Recall

Details...

Seems the firing pin is sticking in a forward position causing a round to discharge when chambered. This happened to me once on a Franchi 48AL S/A 12Ga. Dropped the bolt and a round goes off, turned out to be a broken firing pin return spring

Quite a few for sale on Guntrader..

Seems to be normal practice for Remington of today...turn out low quality products & rely on your past reputation to let standards slide at the expense of higher profit margins.

The 887 always struck me as a design no-one asked for.

Wonder what their next snafu will be?
